Manifesto
The one wearing the mask, who is I, the mask wearer, is free from conflict to the self.
Boundaries are created in the action of putting ON the mask. The mask is replaceable, it's disposable. The mask is just a representation for the symbol of hiding ones self from an audience.
To be totally free from my own identity. Removing the wall ego created long ago in my childhood.
Perhaps new walls will be built that look slightly similar to the old ones. Yet they might have created a bigger space to move in. More breathing room. And the gate being open for public viewing of the space in between. This however is just my hope. What will eventually happen has to be tested out.
The mask needs to be painted and moulded to the shape of my desire. I will have to stand in the mirror for a long time before I will fully understand what it means to be without my old identity. Being and acting are two different ways of existing yet they are not that different from one another.
I'm scared about my own Id when I wear the mask in public. There has been no moment of separation between the new Id and the old Id. In some sense the new Id will be obedient to its older counterpart. Since it follows the same fundamental blueprint that was made out of my nature and nurture.
